Nike has nodded to Puerto Rico throughout the years with silhouettes that celebrate Puerto Rico’s culture. To commemorate the annual Puerto Rican Day Parade in NYC, this Air Max 1 gears up for the festivity with embroidered Puerto Rican flags on the heel and “PR” branding on the tongue tab. “Pa’lante Mi Gente” can be found on the inner tongue, while the contrasting color scheme lets you party in style.
New York City’s Puerto Rican Day Parade will take place this year on the 9th of June. For the event, Nike has created a Puerto Rico themed edition of the Air Max 1. The sneaker will be available on the
