We’ve all used shoe boxes to store the detritus of our daily lives, whether it’s old letters, photos or random objects with sentimental value. And even though they’re the perfect size, we typically don’t store valuables in our old shoe boxes, primarily because they just don’t offer anything in the way of security. That all changes with the Mandem Safe, which for all intents and purposes appears to be a standard cardboard Nike shoe box, but is instead built with 5mm folded steel with a cam lock and pre-drilled holes at the base, allowing you to screw down the box directly onto the floor.
